Dear Hydrology Students:
For your mid-term exam, the topics are up to INFILTRATION CHAPTER.
Theoretical Questions will be asked from all chapters:
Water-budget, Precipitation, Evaporation, Evapotranspiration and Initial Losses.
You may expect to get at least one numerical problem from each of the above mentioned chapters. My suggestion will be that you focus on Tutorial, Assignment and Quiz problems or the problems tackled in the class.
In the exam you may be asked to draw schematic plot- so make sure you bring PENCIL, ERASER and SHARPENER and of course your CALCULATOR and peace of mind.
Few Hints:
1. Schematic plot do not require exact scale. So avoid exact scaling and wasting time.
2. Concise answers are better than long and confusing answers. Normally 1 sentence is sufficient for 1 point score.
3. It is better to draw/plot schematically than write long answers.
4. Attempting may give you zero score, but not-attempting will definitely give you zero.
Good luck.
