Summer training completion letter format

The summer training completion letter needs to be printed on the letterhead of the organization. It must mention the following:

  • student's name
  • dates of training
  • location of training
  • project where training was completed
  • Name of superviser
The certificate needs to be signed by a designated company official and it should bear the stamp of the organization.

A copy of the training completion certificate needs to be attached to your training report.

Summer Training Report format and deadlines

You are all required to submit the Diary and training Report (Hand-written) for your recently concluded Summer Training. The deadline for the submission is Aug 12, after which substantial deduction will take place.

Note the following guidelines:

  • Both the diary and reports are to be submitted together. Submission of only one of these documents is not allowed.
  • Both the diary and the report must be signed by your training supervisor, accompanied by stamp of the organization.
  • A copy of your training completion certificate must be attached to your report.
  • Late submission will attract the following penalty: -10 marks for submission by Aug 19; -20 marks for submission by Aug 26 and -50 marks for submission by Sep 2 and so on...
  • Even if more than one student worked on the same site/project, individual reports will have to be submitted and is expected to have different content.
  • Only Hand-written reports will be accepted. Any maps, sketches, figures, pictures can be attached.
  • Reports must be spiral-bound.
  • The diary and report has to be submitted to the office assistant, Mr. Tanveer.
  • Only the diaries issued by Sharda University will be accepted. If you are using any other diary, you will need the approval of HoD for its submission.
  • Strictly adhere to the following report format:

Evaluation of summer projects will take place on June 18, 2016 in room 105, block-3. It will commence from 9:30 am.
Only the students who have submitted their reports and diaries are eligible for this final evaluation.

Interim evaluation of the summer project

An interim evaluation of the summer project is being scheduled on 4th June, 2016 in the department as per the below schedule,

Date: 4th June, 2016

Venue: Room No. 106, Block 3, SU

Time: All the summer term students have to report at 11:00am in the department. You shall not be allowed, if you do not report by 11:00am. The presentation/ evaluation shall start after that.

Mode: Presentation to a panel of faculty

Content: Only describe about your project and the work "you" have done in the last two weeks and the plan ahead

Penalty: If you fail to be present for the review, you shall not be given any other chance and you shall be marked "FAIL" in the summer project which shall not allow you to appear in the summer term examination.

In case of any confusion, contact your supervisor.
