A proposal is being mooted for the 3rd year students to undergo industrial training for one semester after the summer internship period. This is an option which shall be available for all the current 3rd year students.
Under this, those who wish to join the programme, are supposed to let me know with their cv (in hard copy only)
The interested students may find out a company on their own or we shall try to find out a company for them. The students, in consultation with the company, shall formulate a project which they plan to execute during the one semester programme. The project shall have to be approved by the department first and then only they shall be allowed to undertake the project.
There shall be periodic review of the project work and also the same shall be reviewed at the end of the one semester project for awarding the grades. The total credit of the 7th term shall be awarded to this project.
Those who do not wish to undergo this programme, may continue with the regular classes/ programme being conducted at the university.
