Guidelines and Dates for
Final year BTech project Pt II

Every group of the final year project shall have to follow the below guidelines,

·         Each supervisor shall review the project in the first week of the start of the session (between 9-13th Jan)

·         If there is any need for change of guide (as is the case of groups with Neha), the groups should contact the HOD with an application by 10th January so that new guide can be allocated

·         After the review a work plan for the remaining term shall be submitted by the students to the respective guide by 18th Jan

·         Attendance shall also be marked with the guide every week

·         Every student shall maintain a diary which needs to be signed by the guide every week

·         Every week there shall be a presentation (consisting of 4 slides only) by the group to the concerned guide, at a time and date mutually agreed. The marks allocated shall count towards the CA of project

·         The guide has all the rights to provide a ZERO if the student is not reporting for the weekly meeting

·         The following dates shall be adhered to,
o   Submission of revised work plan - 18th Jan
o   Submission of Progress report #3 - 18th Feb
o   Submission of Progress report #4 - 24th Mar
o   Internal evaluation - between 3-8th April
o   Final submission of the report - 21st April


All the above shall be mandatory for the evaluation of the BTech project. In addition, there shall be a final external evaluation of the project, after the end term examination. Date of the final evaluation shall be notified later

Registration: mandatory form to be submitted with the registration form

As you are aware that the registration for the Even term is to start from tomorrow, i.e., 3rd Jan, 2017 and the classes are to begin from 5th Jan, 2017.

For registration purposes, apart from the regular form, you also have to submit a form, which can be filled and downloaded from the UGC's website. The instructions for the same can be obtained from the below link,
